The project of "Good governance is a pillar for sustainable peace- second symposium”

Whitn the project of "Good governance is a pillar for sustainable peace” on 01/02/2025, Dejla Foundation for Coexistence and Development organized its second symposium at the Foundation's main office in Kirkuk. A group of intellectuals, academics and activists in the field of community awareness and media from different ethnicities in the province participated in the symposium.

The symposium, which was held in participatory and interactive form, focused on the following topics

- The concept of good governance

- The concept of peacebuilding

- Relationship between good governance and peacebuilding

- Diversity Management (Opportunities and Challenges)

- Pillars of the peacebuilding process

- The role of social elites and opinion leaders in the peacebuilding process

Free debates, exchanges of views and proposals took place in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and endeavor to consolidate visions with a view to working together and holding further seminars and activities related to future themes.
