The Group of Kirkuk and poetic Modernity

As part of a series of cultural seminars, on June 28, 2025, the Dejla Foundation for Coexistence and Development organized a symposium by the poet and writer Salah Hama Amin under the title "The Group of Kirkuk and Poetic Modernity" at the Foundation’s main office in the city of Kirkuk. At the beginning of the symposium, an introduction to the topic was presented by the poet Rasul Adnan via a recorded video, and then the poet Salah Hama Amin gave a lecture on his upcoming book, which deals with the same topic in Kurdish language. The last part of the symposium included questions, interventions and discussions by the attendees in Kurdish and Arabic. The symposium was moderated by Awat Muhammad from the Dejla Foundation
